We used to dread having to fill fuel in the mower, snow blower, weed-whipper and other equipment. It invariably meant gas would end up where we didn't want it: hands, clothing, garage floor, lawn and on the machine. Spilled gas wastes money, smells bad, damages material and it's dangerous - especially when it leaks onto hot engine components. That's why we've switched all of our fuel cans over to this Spill-Proof can. There's no cap to unscrew (and then lose) and no vent to open. The patented spout starts fuel flow automatically when you rest it on the lip of the fill pipe - which also means you don't have to strain to support 25 lbs of sloshing gas in mid-air. The spout has a built-in vent tube so you get a smooth, consistent flow without splashing and the tube is angled for a better view of the container being filled. When the tank is full, a unique pressure valve prevents over-filling - similar to a pump nozzle at the gas station. Finally, when you remove the spout from the fill pipe it locks itself off with a spill-proof, child-proof latch mechanism. These safety and convenience features meet the requirements of Underwriter's Laboratory and California CARB regulations.
